It is a day we plan to elaborately showcase our ever rich and age-long traditions in food, clothing, music, dancing and much more

All the states in Yorùbáland and beyond are participating fully in the event.

Key parts of the program lined up for the day include and not limited to Yorùbá provinces showcasing their food delicacies, dance choreographs, music genres, clothing fabrics and dress styles, etc.

On the sideline of this historic event, we plan to have the maiden edition of  our Beauty Pageant tagged "OMIDAN OÒDUÀ. This is where our beautiful girls will showcase their beauty and brain in traditional Yoruba dressings and prove their knowledge of Yoruba culture and traditions. There's a price for the winner.

This is the maiden edition and we plan to make it an annual event. 

The event is coming up on the Saturday, 7th day of October, 2023, at Adamasingba Stadium complex, Ibadan. Time is 10.00am prompt.

We have sought and got the blessings and approval of the governor of Oyo state, Eng. Seyi Makinde GSM and His Emperial Majesty, the Olubadan of Ibadaland, Oba Lekan Balogun 

We are, by this notice,  appealing to every member of IOO WORLDWIDE to support their respective states - cash and kind, to participate actively in this event as the plan is to use the event as a reawakening of our agitation for the creation of a sovereign Yoruba nation which at present is taking a low ebb.

We need sponsors for all the events particularly the OMIDAN OODUA beauty contest.
